Bearboard

Our Company

BearBoard is a leading plastic lumber brand that was developed to provide private consumers with ecological, long-lasting alternatives to traditional wood building materials. Its parent company—Engineered Plastic Systems, LLC—is a manufacturing company specializing in synthetic lumber fabrication and product development.

Since 2000, EPS has been extruding synthetic lumber. By adding some recycled plastic to our formula, we divert millions of pounds of recycled plastic from the solid waste stream. Located northwest of Chicago, Illinois, our factory houses multiple extrusion lines allowing us to manufacture and distribute products and solutions directly to our customers. In order to satisfy our customers’ diverse needs, our collaborative team works tirelessly to develop proprietary formulas and solutions that fit an expanding portfolio of applications.

EPS stands at the forefront of plastic engineering through its use of mineral-added high-density polyethylene (HDPE). As one of only a few manufacturers to apply a mineral-composite formula in the development of plastic lumber products, EPS demonstrates innovation and flexibility for the advancement of long lasting products.

By listening to our customers, manufacturing high-quality materials and engineering cost-effective solutions, we provide value-added products to your home or business in a timely manner. Let us enhance the quality of your private deck or other custom application with plastic lumber from BearBoard.
